Born and raised in Iowa, Joe earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa before receiving his law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly John Marshall Law School).
Joe and his family moved to Solon in 2018, and he opened Deeney Law Firm the following year. He strives to create an office atmosphere of warmth and approachability, providing clients with a comfortable environment for discussing difficult topics.
